Kids camp with a military theme

This was kids camp second week in January of 2010, we had about 40 kids come. In teen camp we had about 150.

The picture at the bottom are my team captains and three of them are my nieces.

Samuel Ethan White's Brithday

This is Samuel Ethan White born the 4 Novembre 2008, Weight 8,245 pounds 50 cm long
His name Samuel Ethan in Hebrew means (His name is God firm and strong) it is a praise to Him for delivering such a beautiful and healthy Baby. Praise God!!

He is just beautiful!!

I have no words to express our joy.

This is Mariela in the wheelchair; we did not know her till this day. My young adult’s class has been storing food for a special occasion, (Mariela and her family). Elias was in charge of seeking out a family in serious need, we never imagined the Lord would put in our path a family like this.



Mariela is 20, the oldest of three, her mother is an industrial engineer, and she has a 17 year old brother and a sister who is 18, and the youngest brother who is 15, Diego.
Nine months ago their father committed suicide by poisoning himself. Diego help him write his last letter and couple of months later Diego poisoned himself in an attempt to be with his dad, but ended up in the hospital in serious condition.

Here we are just walked in there house, with no idea what to expect. This was a new experience for us to.

This people are very Catholic, we gave Ana there mother, this Bible signed by all of us. As far as I know they did not have a bible.

We also took them some pizza, and found out it's the best icebreaker in the world; you can walk in to anybody's house with pizza. I learn this first hand working at Pizza Hut.

Pure religion and undefefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Mariela told her overpertective mom she is going to go to our church from now on. That is awosome!!!

Caren her 18 year old sister is in denial and wants nothing to do with us.

Norman is a 17 year old drunk, and seems open.

And Diego the suicidal 15 year old we have not meet yet, but I spoke to him over the phone and he sounds like his in a deep depression.

Pray for this Family, and for us that the Lord my give us wisdom. Especially WILL to continue working an beeing a blessing for them.

Are goal is to show them the light of a real cristian, so they mite be saved.

We had the kids re-enact the carying of the ark of the covenent. We've been using this method of teaching for the last two camps, and find that the kids love it. learn a alot to.

The problem is that I doubt the Israelites saw critters like this in the wilderness.

There was a family of about 20 that day in the nearby trees.

Five years ago Arlen and I won her parents to the Lord, The've been faithful to our church ever since, and now I had the privlege to see her get saved at this camp. She was the only one that made a decision.

This is me, the main referee at camps, re-inventing the rules of waterpolo, because I had no idea how to play it. Apart from every one cutting their feet on the razer sharp coral, it turned out to be a very competitive game.
